Algae Cultivation Pond Insulation with Geomembrane
Execution Year: 2019
Area: 2,300 m²
Materials Used: 1.5 mm Blue Geomembrane + Geotextile
Project Description

The algae cultivation pond insulation project in Gonbad-e Kavus city was executed in 2019 by Dr. Taheri. This project utilized a 1.5 mm blue geomembrane along with geotextile, covering a total area of 6,000 m². The main goal of the project was to create an optimal environment for algae cultivation. The blue geomembrane acted as a waterproof insulating layer, resistant to various environmental conditions, helping to prevent water leakage and ensuring the durability and longevity of the structure.
Additionally, the use of geotextile as reinforcement and filtration layers improved performance and increased structural strength, maintaining the rigidity and stability of the algae cultivation pond.
